The present invention relates to a polarizing plate including a polarizer; and a protective layer formed on at least one surface of the polarizer, in which the protective layer is a cured product of a radical curable composition including (A) a first compound represented by [Formula 1], (B) a radical curable second compound having two or more of each of a benzene ring, a (meth)acryloyl group, and a carboxy group in a molecule thereof, and (C) a radical initiator, and an image display device including the same.

1. A polarizing plate comprising:
a polarizer; and a protective layer formed on at least one surface of the polarizer, wherein the protective layer is a cured product of a radical curable composition comprising (A) a first compound represented by the following [Formula 1], (B) a radical curable second compound having two or more of each of a benzene ring, a (meth)acryloyl group, and a carboxy group in a molecule thereof, and (C) a radical initiator: in [Formula I], R1 is an ester group or an ether group; R2 is a C1˜10 alkyl group, a C4˜10 cycloalkyl group, or a combination thereof, and in this case, R2 has at least one hydroxy substituent in a molecule thereof; and R3 is hydrogen, or a substituted or unsubstituted C1˜10 alkyl group.
