Disclosed are a mobile terminal and a method for controlling the same. According to the mobile terminal and method for controlling the same of the present invention, when content is displayed and scroll input is received, a microphone is activated and a sound of a user is received. Particular content related to a keyword included in a received sound may be searched from a performance screen of a particular application displayed on a display unit. According to the present invention, a user′s intention is grasped, so a sound recognizing module may be automatically turned on or off, so user convenience may be improved and battery consumption may be reduced. |
