The present invention relates to a culturing method for increasing an immune-enhancing activity in a lactobacillus spp. strain. The lactobacillus cultured and obtained from a medium having arabinose in the present invention as a carbon source has an increased macrophage activating ability of a fungus body. Therefore the immune-enhancing composition comprising a fungus body which is manufactured by the method of the present invention or a cultured product thereof as an active component increases immunity by increasing an ability to produce nitrogen oxide (NO) of macrophages, thereby being useful in manufacturing immune-enhancing foods, pharmaceutical compositions, probiotics for intestinal regulation, compositions for feeds, and fermented products. |
