An example embodiment provides a system, including: a plurality of receivers placed throughout a hospital; each of the receivers configured for communicating with a tag affixed to a moveable object; a database storing location information associated with placements of the plurality of receivers and a use state for a movable object associated with the placements; a computing device operatively coupled to the database and the plurality of receivers, the computing device operating to: receive, via one or more of the plurality of receivers, location data of a tag affixed to the movable object; identify, using data received from the tag, a movable object; determine, based on the one or more of the plurality of receivers transmitting the location data, a location within the hospital of the movable object; associate, using the location information of the database, a use state for the movable object based on the location of the movable object within the hospital; and update a use state for the movable object. a plurality of receivers placed throughout a hospital; each of the receivers configured for communicating with a tag affixed to a moveable object; a database storing location information associated with placements of the plurality of receivers and a use state for a movable object associated with the placements; a computing device operatively coupled to the database and the plurality of receivers, the computing device operating to: receive, via one or more of the plurality of receivers, location data of a tag affixed to the movable object; identify, using data received from the tag, a movable object; determine, based on the one or more of the plurality of receivers transmitting the location data, a location within the hospital of the movable object; associate, using the location information of the database, a use state for the movable object based on the location of the movable object within the hospital; and update a use state for the movable object. |
