The present invention relates to an electricity generating or regenerative braking apparatus including: an induction generator; and a synchronous generator connected to the induction generator to deliver rotatory power, wherein the synchronous generator and the induction generator are connected in parallel without change in frequency. According to the present invention, the electricity generating or regenerative braking apparatus does not need to be provided with reactive power from the outside, thereby enabling independent electricity generating or regenerative braking. |
