Various embodiments of the present invention relate to a method for displaying identification information on a second electronic device in a first electronic device. The method includes an operation of receiving a call or message from the second electronic device; an operation of requiring identification information on the second electronic device to a server; an operation of receiving the identification information required from the server; and an operation of displaying the received identification information on a display.
