[Subject] Provided is a temperature detecting device having a thermal sensitive head which is not sticking to a supporting pipe. [Solution] A thermal sensitive head is installed in a supporting pipe mounted in the center of a range burner. In this thermal sensitive head, a boil-over prevention cover to prevent soup from boiling over and hanging down from the bottom of the thermal sensitive head is installed. Moreover, a flexible cover to block the flow of oil smoke rising along the supporting pipe is installed, at a position lower than the boiled and overflown soup. When particles are attached to the back side of the boil-over prevention cover owing to oil smoke, the boiled and overflown soup will be transferred to and reach this portion so that the solidified portion of boiled and overflown soup will be extended. However if the flexible cover is installed, the attachment of particles to the back side of boil-over prevention cover can be prevented, and the boiled and overflown soup will not be transferred and extended, thereby preventing the thermal sensitive head adhering to the supporting pipe. |
