An electric motor includes an end cap assembly to perform reliable ground connection under high temperature and strong vibration environments. The electric motor includes the end cap assembly having ground connection. The motor comprises: a housing (1); brushes (2, 4); a brush assembly (3) including an electrical component (RLC) and a terminal holder (31); an end cap (5); and a ground plate (7). The brush assembly is fixated on an open end of the housing. The end cap (5) is arranged outside the brush assembly (3) and is fixated on the housing (1). The plate (7) is arranged by being elastically compressed between the terminal holder (31) and the end cap (5). The plate includes a plurality of elastic structures (73,75). Each of the elastic structures supports a lead corresponding to at least a part of an electrical component (RC). The ground plate (7) completes the ground connection by being electrically connected to at least one of the housing (1) and the end cap (5). |
