The present technology discloses a router management method and apparatus. The method includes: determining a management setup design of the router, the management setup design including a plurality of settings parameters in a default management interface hierarchy of the router; selecting a subset of the plurality of settings parameters for inclusion in a simplified management interface for the router based on one or more predetermined inclusion criteria; and displaying the simplified management interface including the subset of the plurality of settings parameters. |
