The objective of the invention is to provide an elevating machine component demand forecasting system capable of forecasting elevating machine component demand with an improved accuracy. To this end, the component demand forecasting system is provided with a replacement rate adjusting unit which obtains a probability distribution of a component for which the demand is to be forecast, from a scheduled replacement time to an actual replacement time, for each type of contract of the elevating machines which use said component, and which, on the basis of the probability distribution for each type of elevating machine contract, adjusts the replacement rate for said component, for each elapsed time period, for each type of elevating machine contract. When this configuration is employed, the demand for the elevating machine components can be forecast more accurately. |
