The filer of an information processing device (20) continuously copies multiple files recorded on, for example, a hard disk device (30), to the optical disk (45) of an optical disk device (40). An optical disk file system driver regards the storing of files recorded on the optical disk (45) in a buffer as the files being recorded on the optical disk, and generates virtual management information for the files. The optical disk file system driver burst-records a prescribed amount of file data in a recording medium each time the prescribed amount of data is stored in the buffer. After recording of the file to the optical disk is completed, the optical disk file system driver records the virtual management information to the optical disk upon the virtual management information being refreshed using information including the recording position of the file on the optical disk. Continuous writing of multiple files to the recording medium can thus be completed at high speed. |
