An optical fiber detection method comprises: selecting an optical fiber path to be detected, and setting related parameters of an optical fiber detection device and associated with the optical fiber path (S10); sending a startup detection instruction to the optical fiber detection device, so that the optical fiber detection device detects the optical fiber path according to the startup detection instruction (S20); and receiving a detection result of the optical fiber detection device on the optical fiber path, and analyzing the detection result to obtain the working state of the optical fiber path (S30). The maintenance personnel do not need to carry instruments or facilities to a station to scan optical fibers manually for locating a fault, the influence caused by connection of an OTDR meter to the service each time is avoided, the maintenance cost of the operator is lowered, and the optical fiber detection efficiency is improved. Also disclosed are an element management system, an optical fiber detection device and an optical fiber detection platform. |
