A method and circuit for suppressing a surge current of a direct current power source. The method comprises: accessing, by a secondary power source, a supply power source, and charging an energy storage unit via a constant-current source circuit (10); driving, by a voltage detection circuit (12), a delay circuit (14) after detecting that a voltage of an energy storage capacitor (C2) in the energy storage unit reaches a pre-determined voltage value; driving, by the delay circuit (14), a switch unit (16) to open slowly until the switch unit (16) is completely conducted; and bypassing, by the switch unit (16), the constant-current source circuit (10), and charging the energy storage unit. By means of the above-mentioned technical solution, an impulse current can be suppressed, and a voltage drop in opening a soft-start switch is also reduced. |
