An inertial drive actuator includes a displacement unit 3, a vibration substrate 4, a first magnetic field generator 11 which generates a magnetic field, a movable body 10 which is disposed on a flat surface of the vibration substrate 4, and which includes a first yoke 9 that concentrates a magnetic flux of an N-pole and an S-pole generated by the first magnetic field generator 11, at a predetermined position, and a second yoke 12 which is disposed on a side of the vibration substrate, opposite to a direction facing the movable body 10. A movement in a direction perpendicular to a direction in which, the movable body 10 is driven is regulated mechanically by end portions of the second yoke 12 facing end portions of the first yoke 9 at an outer side of the vibration substrate 4, and a frictional force acting between the movable body 10 and the vibration substrate 4 is controlled by controlling the magnetic field generated by the first magnetic field generator 11, and the movable body 10 is driven. |
