PURPOSE:To obtain a lithium secondary battery having compact size, large charge-discharge capacity, and good performance by using a specified amorphous substance as positive active material. CONSTITUTION:An amorphous substance obtained by adding V2O5 to MoO3 or WO3, and melting then quickly cooling is used as a positive active material. Lithium or lithium alloy is used as a negative active material. A substance in which a lithium ion can move to electrochemically react with the positive active material or the negative active material is used as electrolyte. The amount of V2O5 is 5-90mol% against MoO3 or WO3, preferably 30-75mol%. To cool quickly, a roller cooling process is applied. |
