Disclosed are an electrodeless lamp structure and an envelope mounted thereon. The present invention comprises: at least one envelope having gas filled therein, the gas generating ultraviolet rays due to an induced magnetic field; and a magnetic field generating unit, connected to the outside of the envelope, for generating an induced magnetic field due to electric power applied from the outside. The present invention provides an electrodeless lamp which: can prevent the lifetime of the envelope from being reduced due to generated heat; enhances the product durability; can reduce production costs; reduces maintenance costs required for repair or replacement of the envelope; can create various lighting effects by detachably coupling the envelope, having various shapes, to the magnetic field generating unit; can improve the steering of light emitted from the envelope without any additional reflectors; can secure the linearity of illumination light; enhances light efficiency by uniformly maintaining the light output of the illumination light; and can maximize lighting effects while occupying a minimal volume of an installation space. |
