DISTANCE MEASUREMENT DEVICE, AND DISTANCE MEASUREMENT CORRECTION DEVICE USING CORRECTION PARAMETER

A distance measurement correction device is provided with an image acquisition unit, a collimation unit, a parallax calculation unit, and an updating unit. The image acquisition unit acquires stereo images comprising a plurality of simultaneously photographed images. The collimation unit mutually collimates the stereo images acquired by the image acquisition unit using a correction parameter for correcting vertical displacement between the stereo images. The parallax calculation unit calculates a horizontal parallax distribution from the stereo images collimated by the collimation unit. The updating unit calculates the distribution of the vertical displacement of the stereo images on the basis of the stereo images and the horizontal parallax calculated by the parallax calculation unit and updates the correction parameter on the basis of the calculated vertical displacement distribution.
