The present invention relates to a wireless communication method for allocating a clear channel in a broadband and a wireless communication terminal using the same and, more particularly, to a wireless communication method and a wireless communication terminal for efficiently increasing a channel approach probability of a terminal using a broadband channel. To this end, the present invention provides a wireless communication method of a terminal and a wireless communication terminal using the same, the wireless communication method comprising the steps of: performing a backoff procedure for a main channel; performing a clear channel allocation (CCA) for at least one sub-channel while performing the backoff procedure; adjusting a CCA threshold value of the main channel on the basis of whether the at least one of sub-channel is in an idle state, as a result of the performance of the CCA; and continuing a backoff procedure for the main channel, using the adjusted CCA threshold value.
