Provided is a composition for radiation shielding, the composition containing: 100 parts by weight of a first resin containing at least one selected from the group consisting of a polyurethane resin, a polysiloxane resin, a silicon resin, a fluorine contained resin, an acryl resin, and an alkyd resin; 5 to 30 parts by weight of a second resin containing at least one selected from the group consisting of polyvinylalcohol (PVA), polyethylene (MDPE), high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and low-density polyethylene (LDPE); 5 to 30 parts by weight of a polyether ether ketone (PEEK) resin powder; 5 to 80 parts by weight of a metal powder; 1 to 70 parts by weight of a metal oxide powder; 1 to 50 parts by weight of paraffin; 5 to 15 parts by weight of a boron compound; and 10 to 50 parts by weight of a carbon powder. Thus, fiber complexes, protective clothes, and the like, which comprises the composition for radiation shielding of the present invention, can shield even neutrons as well as radiation, such as alpha, beta, proton, gamma, and X-rays, by comprising a polyether ether ketone (PEEK) resin, without using lead. |
