The invention relates to a safety screw for a screw connection, comprising a body (2) having an external thread (3) having at least one safety thread winding (6) delimited by two thread teeth (9, 7), the cross-sectional profile of said safety thread winding being deformed compared to the cross-sectional profile of at least one further thread winding (11) in order to increase the traction of a screw connection comprising the safety screw (1), wherein only one of the thread teeth (7) delimiting the safety thread winding (6) is deformed exclusively in the screwing direction (E, 8) of the safety screw (1), and the thread teeth (9, 10) adjacent to the deformed thread tooth (7) are not deformed, or both thread teeth (7) delimiting the safety thread winding (6) are deformed exclusively in the screwing direction (E, 8) of the safety screw (1). According to the invention it is provided that only one thread tooth (7) is deformed along its entire circumferential extent, wherein said only one deformed in the screwing direction (E, 8) thread tooth (7) is deformed in the screwing direction (E, 8) in such a way that contrary to the screwing direction (E, 8) facing flank of the deformed thread tooth (7) is completely or partially approximately parallel displaced in the screwing direction (E, 8) or both thread teeth (7) are deformed over its entire circumferential extent, wherein deformed in the screwing direction (E, 8) both thread teeth (7) are deformed in the screwing direction (E, 8) in such a way that contrary to the screwing direction (E, 8) facing flanks of the deformed thread teeth (7) are completely or partially approximately parallel displaced in the screwing direction (E, 8). |
