A battery pack formed by parallel connection of a plurality of secondary cylindrical battery cells 21 includes a secondary battery cell group 20, a first conductive member 30, a second conductive member 40, a plurality of conductive pieces 50 and fuses 60. The two conductive members 30, 40 are disposed at the same side of the secondary battery cell group 20 to avoid increasing the size of the battery pack. The first and second conductive members 30, 40 each are integrally formed with first and second conductive portions 31, 41 for parallel connecting of the secondary battery cells 21 and first and second terminal portions 32, 42 as power output terminals. Hence, no wiring is required between each conductive portion and first terminal portion, which reduces the possibility of wiring caused short circuit and wire loosening. The conductive pieces 50 have two portions, the first portion 51 electrically connected to the conductive portion 31 of the first conductive member 30 and the second portion 52 being electrically connected to the positive terminals 212 of the battery cells 21. The fuses 60 each have a first conductive leg 61 electrically connected to the second conductive portion 41 and a second conductive leg 62 electrically connected to the negative terminals 213 of the battery cells 21. A casing (80, figure 8) may be used to retain the battery pack, with the terminals 32, 42 protruding from the top of the casing. |
