The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a novel method for producing mesodermal cells; and a graft material which contains mesodermal cells produced by the method. The present invention also addresses the problem of providing: a novel method for producing hematopoietic cells; and a therapeutic agent for hematological diseases, which comprises hematopoietic cells produced by the method. The problems can be solved by providing a novel method for producing mesodermal cells and/or hematopoietic cells, which comprises culturing pluripotent stem cells while allowing the pluripotent stem cells in contact with a three-dimensional support.
