This printer device comprises a print head (21) that prints on recording paper (10), a first roller (22), a cutter unit (30) that cuts the recording paper, and a presenter unit (40) that is connected with the cutter unit and that has a paper output opening (46) from which the recording paper is output. Recording paper that has been printed with the print head enters the presenter unit through the cutter unit and is output from the paper output opening. The presenter unit comprises a second roller (42) that transports the recording paper, a flapper (50) that is provided along the recording paper transport path between the second roller and the cutter unit and that exposes the transport path by opening toward the outside of the presenter unit, and recording paper sensors (71, 72) provided between the second roller and the paper output opening. When the recording paper is sensed by the recording paper sensors, rotation of the second roller is stopped and the flapper is opened to the outside of the presenter unit. |
