A liquid crystal display device and optical compensation method for same, primarily changing the compensation value of a positive birefringence uniaxial A-compensation film and a negative birefringence uniaxial C-compensation film, and specifically controlling the value range of the compensation value Rth of the negative birefringence uniaxial C-compensation film, reducing dark-state light leakage by means of adjusting the compensation values of the aforementioned two types of compensation film. Implementation of the present technical solution can effectively reduce dark-state light leakage of a large visual angle, increasing the contrast and resolution of said large visual angle. |
