<p>The invention relates to a stiffening assembly with expandable screw-nut mechanism which is meant to ensure the blocking, from the inside, of the sides of mechanical structures which assemble tubular parts or components and which need to work or to be stiffened in order to perform correctly certain operations such as those for welding the corners of pre-fabricated doors or windows made of plastics. According to the invention, the assembly comprises an expandable nut (1) and a threaded conical-shaped screw (2) which enter as a nut-screw couple into some intermediary parts (3a and 3b), the nut being made of plastics with several gaps which are formed by some segments (c, d, e and f) and some walls in the shape of elastic membranes and in which the nut (1) is blocked in the orifice of the tubular profile wherein it needs to be stiffened.</p> |
