X-RAY IMAGING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD FOR THE SAME

An X-ray image device comprises: a kernel function setting unit for setting a scatter kernel function corresponding to a scattering component included in first X-ray image data detected by an X-ray detector; and an image data correcting unit for generating second X-ray image data where scattering is corrected with respect to the first X-ray image data by using a scatter kernel function and data consistency. According to the X-ray image device and the method for controlling the same, scattering-correction is performed by using the data consistency, so accuracy of scattering-correction may be improved. An X-ray image is formed based thereon, so the quality of the X-ray image may be enhanced.
