Disclosed are a method and device for monitoring a position of a radiation treatment unit. The method according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: photographing a first image of a patient with respect to a first axis and a second axis by using a first camera during a radiation treatment, and photographing a second image of the patient with respect to the second axis and a third axis by using a second camera; obtaining a third image of the patient photographed by using the first camera during a previous radiation treatment, and a fourth image of the patient photographed by using the second camera; calculating a first correlation value between the first image and the third image by comparing the first image with the third image, and calculating a second correlation value between the second image and the fourth image by comparing the second image with the fourth image; and determining whether the first correlation value and the second correlation value exist in a predetermined threshold value range, and determining that a position of the patient is outside of a radiation treatment position when the first correlation value and the second correlation value deviate from the threshold value, so irradiation of treatment beams is controlled to be stopped. |
