The invention relates to creating new products from waste toner from copiers and printers, and technologies for their use for protecting metals from corrosion, as well as its extrusion, granulation, or tabletting for using it for injection molding of plastic details. Some of the applications of the new materials created from waste toner are: 1. Electrostatic painting. The material is required to be prepared in advance for this purpose. 2. In the use of waste toner for painting in a boiling layer the air pressure should be appropriate for the specific weight, volume of the particles, and the size and density of the pores. 3. In the production of various types of varnishes from waste toner, different solvents, thinners, and combinations of them are selected, as well as different additives. Black water-soluble varnishes (suspensions) can also be produced. 4. Injection molding of details from waste toner after its granulation is carried out in traditional injection molding machines in compliance with the technological regime. 5. The use of waste toner as a coloring agent doesn’t require qualification, it colors, depending on the dose, from grey to black. 6. The use of the toner as a component of the electrolyte for electrophoretic painting requires high qualification of the staff. The use of the waste toner as glue is limited by its color and properties but it is very suitable for some materials. 4 claims |
