A finger-grip container for a sandwich, sausage roll &c., comprises a base 36 and a pair of upwardly extending identical flaps 37 between which the sandwich &c. is supported, the base 36 being provided with a push-up tab 47 to lift the sandwich &c. in the container, and the flaps 37 having scores 39 to allow the outer portions of the flaps to be bent out. As shown, tongues 44 are formed to facilitate gripping the container contents on folding the outer flap portions. The flaps may be of semi-circular, rectangular, or triangular profile, and the base may be formed with two oppositely directed tabs 47. The container may be of cardboard or plastics, the whole being enclosed in a transparent plastics wrapper having lines of weakness (91), Fig. 15 (not shown), along its base to facilitate removal of the wrapper.
