A pair of brush holders (17) are disposed on a base (16) so as to form a 90º angle, and are individually made to hold a brush (18) in a manner that allows sliding in the direction of approaching and withdrawing from a commutator (9). A pair of support columns (25, 26) are provided upright next to one another in the region between the brush holders (17), winding parts (27a, 28a) of torsion springs (27, 28) being fitted to the support columns (25, 26). Working ends (27b, 28b) extending from each of the winding parts (27a, 28a) are brought into contact with the corresponding brushes (18). Reaction-force ends (27c, 28c) extending from the winding parts (27a, 28a) individually lock on the outer circumferential surface of the counterpart support column (25, 26). |
