The invention relates to a process for determining the performance of the construction materials used for electromagnetic screening. According to the invention, the process consists in converting the environmental electromagnetic radiant energy into heat, by means of some passive electric circuits with copper rings (4) in short-circuit, for low frequency, some L-C type plane passive oscillating circuits (5), for medium- and high-frequency, and some fine-meshed nets (6) of textile fabric with insertions of thin carbon, silver and copper wires, for high- and ultrahigh-frequency, all of them invisibly included in the panel volume, followed by the thermal radiation conversion into a thermogram, by means of a thermal vision opto-electronic camera (7), of a sensitivity of minimum 20mK, and an electronic computer, thermogram which allows both the global evaluation of the capacity of electromagnetic screening of the panel to be tested and the zonal evaluation thereof by means of some graphs for the distribution of the intensity of absorption of the electromagnetic radiation obtained by tracing a line with the computer mouse on the thermo-photography of the panel to be tested.
|
