According to an embodiment of the present invention, an underwater dynamic braking resistor is provided. According to the embodiment of the present invention, the underwater dynamic braking resistor comprises: a first plate which is connected to one side of an inverter or a converter to convert regenerative energy into heat energy or eliminate regenerative energy, connected to an anode, and made of a conductive material; a second plate which is separately arranged from the first plate, connected to a cathode, and made of a conductive material; and a first interval adjusting unit which adjusts the interval between the first plate and the second plate. At least portions of the first and second plates come in contact with a conductive fluid to be electrically connectable. |
