The present invention relates to a sonar image emulator, and a method for estimating a sonar image using the same. The sonar image emulator comprises: a supersonic model generation unit generating a supersonic model including a plurality of linear lines starting from a supersonic source; an object model generation unit generating a target object as a three dimensional cubic entity; a dividing unit dividing the target object into a plurality of slices; a modelling unit obtaining cross point information between the slices and the linear lines; and a rendering unit rendering a sonar image of the target object using the cross point information.
