The present invention relates to a modulation method and a modulation apparatus with improved spectrum characteristic efficiency and high resistance to noise compared to a conventional modulation method. A channel data signal, generated from an input data signal, is pulse-shaped by using an RC or SRC pulse with a long pulse width with respect to a symbol length of the channel data signal without using an additional filter for modulation during a process of generating a modulation signal.
