The present invention relates to a flat cable manufacturing method and a flat cable, capable of easily obtaining multiple wires, curved in parallel, while making the width direction and thickness thereof small. The method includes: an array part arranging process of arranging groove parts (131a, 132a, 133a) in a straight line in the order of a first array block (131), a second array block (132), and a third array block (133); a wire storing process of storing a wire (11) in the groove parts (131a, 132a, 133a) to place the wire (11) in parallel; a wire curving process of curving the wire (11) by moving the second array block (132) in an intersectional direction with a direction, in which the groove parts (131a, 132a, 133a) are formed, with respect to the first array block (131) and the third array block (133); and an insulating film attaching process of attaching an insulating film (12) from upper and lower sides of the arrangement surface to the wire (11). |
