The present invention relates to a smart stick system for a visually-impaired person having a navigation function, which enables a visually-impaired person to easily and safely walk by using a stick. The smart stick system for a visually-impaired person comprises: a portable terminal having a navigation application installed therein, and providing sound direction information to a user; and a smart stick wirelessly connected to the portable terminal, sensing an obstacle, and presenting obstacle information and direction through a tactile signal to the user. Accordingly, the smart stick system for a visually-impaired person is wirelessly connected to the portable terminal having the navigation application installed therein to guide a user with obstacle information and direction through a tactile signal, so the visually-impaired person can easily move by avoiding an obstacle. |
