The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising an expression or activity inhibitor of PKM2 as an active ingredient for enhancing sensitivity to anticancer drugs and for complementing anticancer drugs, and to a method for enhancing anticancer effects. The expression or activity inhibitor of PKM2 of the present invention can be usefully used for a pharmaceutical composition for enhancing sensitivity to anticancer drugs and for complementing anticancer drugs, and a method for enhancing anticancer effects, by depleting PKM2 existing inside cancer cells and having effects in promoting apoptosis by anticancer drugs.
