The present invention provides an access network device and a communication method. The access network device comprises: a receiver, used for receiving a call request sent by a calling user equipment, the call request carrying a user communication identifier of a called user equipment; a processor, used for generating a paging request according to the user communication identifier before the receiver receives a paging message sent by a core network device, and the processor being also used for establishing a signaling connection with the called user equipment according to the paging request; and a sender, used for sending, to the called user equipment, the paging request generated by the processor. The device and the method provided in the present invention are used for solving the technical problem in the prior art that the time delay of voice service establishment is great and service experience of a user is affected. |
