The present invention prepares a filament web type precursor fabric for an activated carbon fiber fabric through (i) a spreading process of spreading the precursor filaments for preparing the activated carbon fiber in a web state; and (ii) a punching process of agglutinating, with each other, the precursor filaments for preparing the activated carbon fiber spread in a web state. The filament web type precursor fabric for the prepared activated carbon fiber fabric has a structure in which the precursor filaments for preparing the activated carbon fiber are agglutinated with each other while being spread in a web state, and has a weight of 50-500 g/㎡per unit area. The present invention has low manufacturing costs for preparing a filament web type precursor fabric for an activated carbon fiber fabric, facilitates control of the weight of the precursor fabric and increases the permeability of the precursor fabric, thereby improving performance. If the activated carbon fiber fabric is prepared by activating the filament web type precursor fabric for the activated carbon fiber fabric of the present invention, the durability and crystallizability of a thread constituting the fiber fabric increases and becomes uniform, and the formability of fine pores having a diameter of 1-2 nm, which makes storage of hydrogen and removal of air pollution substances easy, can also be enhanced. |
