The invention relates to a polymeric composition for tissue engineering applications and to a process for preparing the same. According to the invention, the composition is a mixture of polyhydroxybutyrate, bacterial cellulose and tributyl citrate. The process, as claimed by the invention, consists in mixing the components in a plastograph, at a temperature of 170...180°C, for 10 min, at a screw rate of 40 rpm, in the presence of pharmaceutical NaCl as a sponging agent. |
