The present invention relates to a closing device (1) for a fire protection element (2), such as a fire protection door or a fire protection window, having a glazing (3) made of at least two parallel offset glass panes (4, 5), wherein the closing device comprises a closing device housing (7), in which a closing device lock is inserted, wherein the closing device housing is provided for mounting on the glazing of the fire protection element, at least one backing plate for the closing device housing (7), at least one spacer (15), wherein the closing device housing (7) is connected to the backing plate by means of at least one fastener (14) passing through the spacer (15), wherein the spacer (15) consists of a sleeve (23) and at least two abutments fixedly connected with the sleeve (23), parallel, spaced apart and having stop surfaces (22), wherein the sleeve (23) projects beyond both sides of the stop surfaces (22) and the spacer (15) is adopted for fixing the glass panes (4, 5) with a space predetermined by the stop surfaces (22). |
