<p>The invention relates to a process for producing a deformable aluminium alloy with improved mechanical characteristics, by mechanical alloying followed by pressing, sintering and extruding, the alloy being used in the aeronautic industry, automobile industry, food industry, in constructions and other similar fields. According to the invention, the process consists in mechanically alloying in a high-energy planetary mill, under argon protected atmosphere, some Al, Mg, Ti, Cr powders and AlOpowder which has the role of dispersoid, followed by pressing and sintering the resulting alloy powder under inert atmosphere, at a temperature of 550°C, for 8 hours, hot pressing the sintered compressed product, at a temperature of 450°C, with a pressing force of 25 tF and at a pressing angle of 45°, while reducing the diameter from 30 mm to 8 mm, in 2...4 stages, to finally obtain an alloy bar with a mechanical strength of over 450 MP and a relative elongation ranging between 7...10 %.</p> |
