<p>The invention relates to an equipment fitting out a machine meant to harvest herbaceous fodder plants, which concomitantly performs mowing and crushing operations, leaving the same on the soil in continuous furrows in order to dry them naturally, these being collected afterwards, depending on the adopted technology, for being ensilaged or for hay preparation. According to the invention, the equipment comprises a platform (1) whereon there is mounted a cutting apparatus (2) which carries out the mowing of plants in a field, the plants being carried over by an elastic tine reel (3) in continuous layer and uniformly and transported to a crushing device (4) provided with two rolls, and two bafflers (5) forming a fodder furrow and a mechanical gearing (6) for actuating the working element.</p> |
