Disclosed are a message processing method and device. The method comprises: an interworking gateway receives a message, the interworking gateway connecting an IMS domain and a circuit-switched (CS) domain; and the interworking gateway sends the message to a target user through a domain that the target user of the message is in, the domain that the target user is in being one of the domains connected to the interworking gateway. The present invention solves the problem in the related art concerning the implementation of short message service interworking of IMS domain users and CS domain users, achieves interworking between IP short messages and CS domain short messages without changing the existing network, and improves the resource utilization rate. |
