The present invention relates to a chuck for mounting a workpiece, the chuck comprising: a chuck body; a base jaw installed on the chuck body; and a first reinforcing part positioned along the outer circumferential surface of the chuck body, wherein the chuck body is made of at least any one of materials selected from the group consisting of an aluminum alloy, a titanium alloy, a magnesium alloy and a carbon composite fiber, and wherein the first reinforcing portion, which is positioned along a predetermined region of the outer circumferential surface of the side of the chuck body, supports the outer shape of the chuck body, thereby preventing the outer shape of the chuck body from being deformed. |
