A need for maximizing dielectric anisotropy of liquid crystal for achieving quick response and low power consumption required by various TFT-LCD applications is being increasing. In particular, as for application on mobile devices, including Note PC, phone, or tablet PC, where low power consumption matters, a liquid crystal compound having a high dielectric anisotropy is needed since power consumption cannot be easily increased. The present invention relates to a liquid crystal composition for a high dielectric anisotropy, which may achieve a quick response and a low power consumption with a low refractive index and a high dielectric anisotropy, wherein one or more liquid crystal compounds, selected from the cyclohexyl group as the following Chemical Formula 1, are mixed. |
