According to an embodiment of the present invention, disclosed is a relay device which may include: a short-distance wireless communication unit which sets a short-distance wireless communication connection with a first communication device; and a control unit which transmits information, to the first communication device, on at least one device possibly being connected to the relay device, receives a data relay request from the first communication device which requests a data transmission to a second communication device selected by a user of the first communication device among the devices possibly being connected to the relay device, and controls the short-distance wireless communication unit, in response to the data relay request, to transmit the data received from the first communication unit to the second communication device. |
