Disclosed are an RF surface coil and a magnetic resonance device employing the same. The disclosed RF surface coil for a magnetic resonance device comprises: a plurality of conductive elements which are connected in series to form a surface coil of a loop shape; and a variable inductance unit which is prepared in at least one of the conductive element to adjust inductance. The variable inductance unit comprises: a conductive rod; and a coupling unit which detachably couples the conductive rod to at least one of the conductive element.
