An injection device for the metering or addition of a liquid additive into an exhaust gas treatment device, includes an outlet region to be brought into contact with the exhaust gas treatment device, a connector region spaced apart from the outlet region and having a fluid-line connector, and a duct or channel for the additive extending from the connector region to the outlet region. A valve controls the metering or addition of the additive, and at least one heat-flow adjustment device defines a direction of freezing in the duct from the outlet region towards the connector region. A method for freezing an injection device, a method for producing an injection device and a motor vehicle are also provided. |

1. An injection device for metering a liquid additive into an exhaust-gas treatment device, the injection device comprising:
an outlet region configured to be placed in contact with the exhaust-gas treatment device; a connector region spaced apart from said outlet region and having a fluid line connector and a duct for the additive running from said connector region to said outlet region; a valve configured to control metering of the additive; and at least one heat flow adjustment device configured to predefine a freezing direction in said duct from said outlet region toward said connector region; said at least one heat flow adjustment device including a heat insulator surrounding said connector region; said heat insulator being configured to reduce a heat flow from inside the injection device through said connector region into surroundings of the injection device in the event of freezing or in the event of cooling of the liquid additive inside the injection device. |
