The present invention relates to a rope stopper for a tent and a tarp and, more specifically, to a rope stopper for a tent and a tarp capable of maintaining the tension of a rope for a long time without a change by strongly preventing the movement of the rope with the stopper by maximizing a contact area of a rope and the surface of the stopper. The rope stopper for the tent and the tarp capable of adjusting and fixing the length of the tent and the tarp including a flexible stopper body formed into a rod shape with a predetermined thickness; rope seating units recessed inward throughout the entire length of both lateral surfaces of the stopper body to be in contact with the rope; and rope insertion holes penetrating through the upper part and lower part of the stopper body to enable the rope to be inserted. The rope stopper for the tent and the tarp is capable of maximizing the contact area of the rope and the surfaces of the rope seating units while the rope is inserted into the rope insertion holes by forming the curved rope seating units on both lateral surfaces of the stopper body, thereby obtaining an effect of maintaining the tension of the rope for a long time without a change by strongly holding the rope with the stopper body. In addition, cut tapered units cut inward around the rope insertion holes are formed, and protrusion units are protruding from the surface of the rope seating units so the rope primarily comes into contact with the tapered unit while the rope is inserted into the insertion holes and secondarily comes into contact with the rope seating units and the protrusion units. Accordingly, the rope stopper for the tent and the trap is capable of strongly holding the rope with the stopper body by maximizing the contact area of the rope to the stopper body, thereby obtaining the effect of maintaining the tension of the rope without a change even in case of external impact or shaking due to wind. |
